PLASTIC CASES

Plastic Cases are engineered from molded plastics, offering robust, rigid protection for transporting and showcasing product. They are durable and reusable, as well as dustproof, waterproof and shockproof.

Plastic cases are available in a variety of sizes and colours, with many accessory and hardware options to accompany them. They are most commonly used for protection of highly valuable items, or sensitive components going into an environment where a superior level of protection is required, including; electronics, medical equipment, laptops, military equipment and more.

PRODUCT DETAIL:

Plastic cases are ideal for products being transported through harsh environments, such as military equipment. These durable cases are perfect for reusable applications including the transporatation and storage of expensive equipment, such as medical devices. They are also a practical solution for storing and protecting trade show equipment, kits of hardware prior to assembly, and much more.
In manufacturing where assemblies require a lot of components or hardware, utilizing cases with custom foam inserts with specific cut outs for each piece is an excellent way for the assemblers to be able to quickly determine if a kit is complete.

 

Foam Fitments for Plastic Cases 

Standard or customized foam fitments are often utilized in plastic cases.

  • Cases are available with a standard polurethane foam insert, referred to as Pick N Pluck. As the name infers, the foam is segmented into small blocks and blocks are simply removed as needed, creating the desired size pocket, to house the component.
    This is ideal when precise protection is not required. However they are not recommended for heavy items, or environments taht would expose the insert to moisture. 
  • Custom designed foam fitments are available in a variety of foam options and offer a higher level of protection. Engineered with precise machinery including CNC and Waterjet. This option also provides marketing and branding opportunities in the foam lining the interior of the lid.

  • Bezel plates available in plastic or aluminum options are ideal for securely mounting components including electronics to the inside of the case.
